Fat's to-go
About two and a half months ago I was given an opportunity to do a photo series for Fat's Restaurants. Fats is a family owned Chinese bistro. Real high class for Sacramento. The oxymoron her is that they just started a Fat's to go division in attempt to keep up with the times. They are testing the new business model in Roseville with the same menu as the main restaurant just in a to-go bag. So my mission was to shoot three concepts of Fat's food to go but also show that it's the same high end food you would get if you were to dine in. Hear is what we came up with.
IMAGE 1: A waiter with a to-go bag on a silver platter. Min was my model for this one. The idea was to show high class service for a to-go menu.
IMAGE 2: Perhaps the less obvious of the three is the business person exiting her car after picking up her to-go meal. Sima is our model here. it's also her BMW that we were using.
IMAGE 3: The bistro at home. The target audience here are the people that want a quick take home meal that doesn't taste like fast food. Here we created a warm ambiance with candle light with subtle lighting to resemble a restaurant feel.
So what do you think? Did we do a good job? Anyone plan to try it after reading this post?

Heather in template
I love finding my images used in print, web, and multimedia projects. It's nice to see something you created actually being utilized by designers. I also like to share these finds with you all. I discoverd the above image of Heather being used in a web template. It's not the best photo of heather and I question the use of the image as it was supposed to a more confused image but hey I only supply images to designers, I can't tell them how to design.
Later today I will create a gallery of images in the photo section of some of my past finds, so check back later to see what ends up there. Guarantee there will be more photos of Heather in it.

Andy on a flyer!
I just got an email from a designer that he used one of my images of Andy in a flyer he designed. I thought it was a very nice design and a great use of imagery and typography. For those that don't know Andy, He was kind enough to let me experiment with him way way back in my early days of learning photography. Andy is really involved with the church that Chris attends. I hope to get his email address soon so that I can send him a copy. If any of you know andy and how to get ahold of him please send him a link to the site so he can see the image.
